Democrats slam Marjorie Taylor Greene for showing Hunter Biden ‘porn’: Impeachment hearing goes off the rails as AOC and her colleagues tear into Republican firebrand for featuring the sordid laptop

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was chastised by her Democratic colleagues for bringing “pornography” to an Oversight Committee hearing while attacking Hunter Biden and accusing him of being a sex trafficker.

The congressman held up a sign with photos of Hunter Biden and a woman from behind wearing only what Greene says is a bathing suit.

“Hunter Biden must be held accountable,” she said. “My Democratic colleagues pretend to care about women’s rights.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., objected, claiming Greene violated House rules. Democrat Jamie Raskin, R-Maryland, intervened, asking Chairman James Comer to tell Greene not to refer to “pornographic exhibits” that “may not be appropriate for children watching.”

“Isn’t a bathing suit appropriate, Mr. Raskin?” Greene said.

“I would like the member to be instructed not to present evidence that may not be appropriate for children,” Raskin said.

‘It’s a bathing suit! A swimsuit!’

“You are presenting a naked female body,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

‘This is a swimsuit. You don’t have your glasses on, are you wearing them or not?’

“I have contacts, thank you,” AOC shot back.

“Congratulations,” said MTG.

Greene had accused Hunter Biden of sex trafficking and the Justice Department of covering it up.

“Hunter Biden had escorts who traveled across state lines. These women are victims and these women are victims and the DOJ refuses to protect their rights,” she said.

IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler had testified in June that the president’s son flew women across state lines for sex, potentially violating federal laws designed to combat human trafficking.

He and IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley said Hunter Biden made business deductions disguised as “golf club memberships” that were actually related to a sex club and escort payments.

At another point during the hearing, Ocasio-Cortez warned Republicans to stop trusting Hunter Biden’s text messages and emails, saying he was addicted to drugs at the time he sent them.

“Much of the Republican case and evidence is based on the words of Hunter Biden. Hunter Biden said this, Hunter Biden said that. That’s why the case is closed, there’s something here,” the New York Democrat noted during the Oversight Committee’s first impeachment hearing.

“It’s well known to the public that Hunter Biden unfortunately dealt with substance abuse, right?” she asked the Democratic witness, Professor Michael Gerhardt.

“Right,” he replied.

“There’s charges against him, right?” the congressman asked.

“Right,” said Gerhardt.

“Is this a reliable witness?” she then asked. “Probably not,” Gerhardt said.

Republicans often point to emails and text exchanges found on the laptop Hunter left at a repair shop.

In messages from August 2017, Hunter emphasized the need to invest $10 million annually in the joint venture with CEFC China Energy, calling a $5 million proposal “new to me” and “obviously not acceptable.”

“I’m tired of this, Kevin,” Hunter said in messages sent to CEFC China Energy employee Gongwen Dong. “I can make $5 million in salary at any law firm in America. If you think it’s about money, it’s not. The Biden’s (sic) are the best at doing exactly what the chairman wants from this partnership. Please let’s not fight about peanuts.’

The next day, one of Hunter’s shell companies, OWASCO PC, received a $10,000 payment from CEFC, House Oversight Republicans said, sharing a receipt.

And in a separate report, the president’s son was staying at the guest house of Biden’s Delaware home when he wrote a letter to Communist Party official Henry Zhao on July 30, 2017, demanding payment.

‘I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been kept.’ Hunter wrote in 2017 according to testimony released by the GOP.

Hunter then said, according to the testimony, “Tell the director I’d like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now I mean tonight.

“And Z, if I get a call or text from anyone other than you, Zhang or the chairman involved in this, I will make sure that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret if you didn’t follow my directions. I’m sitting here waiting for the phone call with my father,” he added.

Another oft-quoted message is a reference to “10 percent for the big man.”

In 2017, as the First Son and his business partners were closing a multi-million dollar deal with Chinese oil giant CEFC, Hunter’s partner James Gilliar sent an email outlining the proposed ownership of their joint venture, suggesting that Hunter would own 10% of the shares. On behalf of Joe.

Another partner in Hunter’s CEFC deal, Tony Bobulinski, confirmed that “the big guy” was Joe Biden, and other emails on Hunter’s laptop refer to Joe by the same nickname.
