Democratic strategist gives brutally honest verdict on Biden’s re-election hopes as party faithful finally admit Joe’s biggest problem is Joe

A Democratic political strategist is confirming what many believe is the biggest problem with Joe Biden’s re-election campaign: Joe Biden.

The president continues to struggle in the polls – a week before the surprising first debate against Donald Trump – often lagging behind nationally and in important swing states.

What’s worse for Biden is that the Democratic senators defending their seats in November are ahead of Biden and even handily leading their Republican opponent.

However, in the same polls, Biden, who is constantly prone to blunders, is barely or even completely behind his old rival.

Strategist Neil Oxman says the polls show that the president is the negative factor for Democrats to blame.

“Democrats are excited about trying to win the Senate and House of Representatives, they are not excited about Biden’s re-election,” he said. Politics.

A major development is that hardcore Democrats are reportedly finally realizing that the problem with Biden is Biden.

In Ohio, where Democrats have not won a presidential race since the days of Barack Obama, former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown remains above ground.

A Marist poll showed 71-year-old leading Republican Bernie Moreno with a five-point lead in his quest for a fourth term.

The same poll shows President Biden trailing Donald Trump by seven points, a 12-point swing that suggests Biden is losing independents willing to vote for a Democrat.

“There is a disconnect between the successes we have locally and in specials, and the environments we experience at and near the top of the ticket,” said Steve Israel, a former congressman and chairman of the DCCC.

More worrying could be the same gap in the states that Biden narrowly won in 2020 to take over the presidency from Trump.

In Pennsylvania, another Marist poll shows moderate Democratic Senator Bob Casey six points ahead of challenger David McCormick.

In the same poll, Biden loses to Trump by two points, a loss that could affect the entire election.

Biden leads in a head-to-head race against Trump in Wisconsin by two points, but if we look at third candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and counting others, it is an even race.

The same poll shows Tammy Baldwin leading likely Republican challenger Eric Hovde by as much as nine points.

“It will take a lot of time and effort to reach the voters who will decide the election and who are not yet paying attention,” Biden campaign spokesperson Mia Ehrenberg said in a statement.

“And the Biden-Harris campaign is doing the disciplined, persistent, long-term work it takes.”

However, factors such as Biden’s age, presumed competence and policies make many doubt whether he is on the run.

“You can’t ignore the truth and that people are concerned about his stage of life,” said former third-party candidate Dean Phillips, who still supports Biden.

“I would say it’s time to address that, be self-deprecating and start focusing on what people really care about, which is economic security and personal security,” he added.

Democrats like Tom Suozzi on Long Island won a special election by pulling ahead of Biden in his district.

Michael Kripchak lost by less than 10 points last week and outperformed Biden by 20 points in his special election race in Ohio.

Kripchak, who is running again for the seat in November’s traditional elections, believes Trump’s appeal is not a matter of character but of his base believing he will work for them.

“People on the right don’t admire Trump at all. They admire the power he radiates there. These people think he’s fighting for them. Why? Because he is an excellent salesman,” he said.

He seems to think that President Biden could learn a thing or two from the way Trump represents his voters and how he acts on policy matters.

‘Imagine someone like Biden actually doing things to help people, and then projecting that strong image. Right? That is the combination we need,” said Kripchak, who will compete again in November.

The president has been criticized by the media and his opponent Trump for a series of recent blunders.

Biden froze at an event commemorating D-Day earlier this month in France and then in Italy while attending the G-7 summit.

Back home in the United States, another freezing incident occurred during a campaign event, when former President Barack Obama was forced to escort the current president off stage.

The same week, Biden froze again during a ceremony celebrating Juneteenth before delivering a speech in which his words became slurred and lost on comprehension.

Trump blasted Biden for looking worse than ever at a recent campaign rally.

“Crooked Joe and his handlers claim he’s sharper than ever and they say the videos of Crooked Joe goofing around are fake. Do you know what a clean fake is? They have been deceptively edited,” Trump said.

“They say they were fraudulently edited,” he continued. “All the mistakes he makes every day. He can’t go anywhere without making a mistake.’

The recent incidents have raised even more questions about Biden and his age and fitness for office.

‘He looked like he didn’t know where he was, but he didn’t know where he was. He now blames AI. He says it’s AI. He doesn’t know what AI is, but that’s OK,” Trump said.

“They say the media is manipulating – oh, he’s saying the media is manipulating now? In that regard, I have to stand up for the media,” the former president chuckled.

“He said the media is constantly manipulating photos of him without knowing where he is. They do the exact opposite, which makes them look better.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at a news conference when asked about the recent increase in Biden’s freezes, “It tells you everything we need to know about how desperate the Republicans are here.”

“And instead of talking about the president’s achievements in office, and what I mean by that is his legislative victories, what he’s been able to do for the American people across the country, we see these deep falsifications, these doctored videos,” she said.

“And once again it was done in bad faith.”

Biden’s team claims that the many embarrassing videos that have emerged of the president in recent weeks are merely “deep fakes” or edited to make him look bad.

The president received good polling news Thursday, with a Fox News poll showing him ahead of Trump by two points.

a Fox News Poll, The report released Wednesday found that 50% of respondents said they would vote for Biden in November, while 48% would vote for Trump.

It’s a one-point improvement for Biden in the poll over last month’s numbers, where Trump had a one-point lead.

Biden received the support of 73% of black voters. The poll also found that almost all partisans remained loyal, as 95% of Democrats have expressed support for Biden, while 95% of Republicans support Trump.

The poll could show the impact of Trump’s recent indictments earlier this month after he was found guilty of all 34 charges in a hush-money trial, making Trump the first US president to be convicted.

However, FiveThirtyEight’s polling average still shows Biden trailing by less than a point.
