Top Democratic megadonor John Morgan believes Kamala Harris should be disqualified from running for president “forever.” He is furious about how her campaign raised more than $1 billion while losing to Donald Trump.

Morgan, a wealthy trial lawyer, furious about the spending spree during a performance on Chris Cuomo’s show ‘CUOMO’ on NewsNation.

“Suddenly everyone has the keys to the candy store, ad buyers, talent consultants. There are still 100 days to do it, and the money started pouring in,” he said.

He lamented some of the wasteful spending decisions, such as lighting the Las Vegas “Sphere” at a cost of $900,000, plus ad buys in his home state of Florida and wall-to-wall ads in the failed effort to prevent the return of Donald Trump. to the White House.

He suggested bad motives for some of the costs. “She had all these advisors. And if you don’t run the ads, you don’t get paid for the purchase,” he fumed.

He said he was at the White House, where President Biden held a big thank you party for staff, campaign workers and donors.

‘There’s a lot of whispering. There are a lot of names out there about who got this, who got that, and a lot of people got rich thanks to donors who tried to stop Trump. And I think this disqualifies her forever. Forever. “If you can’t run a campaign, you can’t run America, and that would be the argument on day one,” he said.

His rant came after a series of reports about how the Harris camp burned more than $1.4 billion.

Now, in the wake of her defeat, her campaign continues to send out a series of appeals to raise money to try to pay off a campaign debt reportedly as high as $20 million.

It was all part of a campaign that relied on large rallies, frequent trips to swing states and no small amount of celebrity and endorsements from top musicians and actors.

Meanwhile, now that her campaign is over, some DNC staffers have been fired without severance. Harris made matters worse by going on a family vacation to Hawaii.

Harris was forced to enter the race last summer after Joe Biden suddenly withdrew following his debate disaster.

Ultimately, she kept most of his campaign apparatus in Delaware, while bringing in some of her own advisers.

But her political options are far from over. She was the frontrunner in a recent 2028 poll, despite complaints from the party apparatus.

Advisors and allies say they have been instructed by the vice president to “keep her options open,” according to Politico.

She could even pursue an open governor’s seat in her home state of California in 2026. Governor Gavin Newsom, who rose to fame in California politics with Harris, is term-limited and could consider a run for the White House himself in 2028.
