The Democratic mayor of Burbank, California, was filmed being punched by a drag queen at a campaign event over the weekend.
Konstantine Anthony, who goes by “Mayor Spanky” online, was seen getting punched by the drag queen during a fundraiser for California Senate candidate Kipp Mueller.
A Democratic activist posted photos of the events on Sunday, writing: “What a day yesterday! @SCVDens wanted to celebrate #California’s birthday and we certainly did just that – by working with our #community to protect democracy!
‘A canvas launch, fundraiser for @kippmuellerca, followed by Drag Queen Bingo! Thank you to everyone who made yesterday so special!”
Conservative social media account LibsofTikTok highlighted the spanking video on Monday, claiming Anthony was spanked in front of children.

Anthony, who also works as an Uber driver, has been mayor of Burbank since 2020
The account shared an image of a child in attendance before Anthony claimed the photo was taken at another event the same day.
The mayor fired back, saying the private event where he was beaten by the drag queen was only attended by people 21 and older.
He wrote on X: ‘Everyone at the private event was over 21.
“Would you like to explain your lie?”
Anthony was beaten by infamous drag queen Roxy Wood, who specializes in Drag Bingo.
Drag bingo has become a common event at progressive Democrats’ campaign events, which has infuriated conservatives, especially when children are present.
Social media users were quick to leave angry comments under the video, which was first posted to Instagram on Sunday.
One response read: ‘That would be nice if you were a comedian, but as mayor that is a shame.’
‘What a shame. Our city needs real leadership,” said another.
A third added, “I’m so proud of our mayor in Burbank. He reached the maximum level of stupidity.’
Anthony is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.
He describes himself as the country’s first openly autistic mayor and an actor with twenty years of experience in improvisational comedy.
Anthony, who also works as an Uber driver, has been mayor of Burbank since 2020.
He is currently running for LA County Supervisor.
