Demi’s clarification comes after she revealed that she gave up using “she/they” pronouns because she got tired of explaining herself to people.
She came out as non-binary and revealed “she/they” pronouns in 2021. She later re-adopted “she/her” pronouns and used them alongside “she/it.”
In a new interview with GQ Hype Spain, she said, “I had to constantly educate people and explain why I identified with those pronouns. It was absolutely exhausting.’
The ex-Disney Channel star added, “I just got tired. But that’s precisely why I know it’s important to keep spreading the message.’
Demi’s beau, whose full name is Jordan Jutes, is on the wagon as she is and contributed to her rock-tinged latest album HOLY F***.
News of their relationship broke around the time of HOLY F***’s release last August, but a source said they had been “secretly dating for months now.”
The insider inquired E! News: ‘Demi and Jutes met while working on music together. Things are going very well and they have a lot in common. They attach themselves to music.’
Jutes is said to have “restored her faith in romance” after the former Disney Channel star “swore off dating for a while.” ‘

The source described Demi as “absolutely smitten,” said they’ve “spent a lot of time together,” and added, “Everyone thinks he’s really good for her.”
In April, Demi gushed on CBS Mornings that she was “in a really good place” to the point “I don’t know what I’m going to write about on my next album because I’m so happy.” It’s a really good feeling, but I don’t know what I’m going to do.’
She hinted that Jutes had a hand in her sunny disposition, saying her upcoming music would “definitely include a bunch of juicy love songs.”

In July, Demi ecstatically revealed that and her smoldering beau were engaged — but just two months later, their relationship fell apart.
She then told Glamor: ‘As I started to get older, I started to realize how strange I really am. Last year I was engaged to a man, and when it didn’t work out, I thought, ‘This is a huge sign.’
Demi added, “I thought I was going to spend my life with someone. Now that I didn’t intend to, I felt a sense of relief that I could live my truth.”
At the time of the interview, which ran in March 2021, she felt unable to date a biological man because she was “too weird” to do so.
