“I used to want to make an adult version of Camp Rock 3, like an R-rated version,” Lovato revealed during their interview.

“But I think too much time has passed,” they continued dejectedly. “And it missed its chance.”

During the interview, Lovato was also jokingly asked about her favorite dish – referring to a famous clip where they spoke to German radio station NRJ in 2015.

Instead of answering what their favorite prepared meal was, they gave an unexpected, straight-faced reply: “I like mugs because they feel really nice in the hand and they hold the hot stuff you don’t have to touch.” ‘

Nearly a decade later, she revisited the viral moment, insisting that it was all a joke.

“I was really tired and I was doing these interviews and I was getting all these questions,” she recalled to Harper’s Bazaar with a laugh. “In the end, I just got tired of answering the questions, so I thought I’d come up with a stupid answer.

“And then it went viral,” Lovato continued. “Everyone thought I was being serious, but if you watch the video, you see me looking at my day-to-day manager and smiling after that answer, because I was like, ‘Ha, ha, they didn’t I don’t know.'”

They added, ‘Anyway, my favorite dish would be a plate. No I’m just kidding. My favorite dish is probably pizza. I love pizza.’

Honestly. “Because I thought that was a real picture of me and I thought, ‘Oh no, that’s a really bad angle.'”

A producer behind the cameras then asked them, “Is it weird when things like that, or Poot, or ‘get a job, stay away from her’ go viral?”

Lovato had a contagious laugh before they even finished asking the whole question, remembering the nickname they’d gotten after an unflattering photo was uploaded to Tumblr in October 2015.

“When Poot went viral, it really sucked,” they answered truthfully. “Because I thought that was a real picture of me and I thought, ‘Oh no, that’s a really bad angle.'”

They continued, “But Poot is photoshopped! Later it made me feel better because I realized that wasn’t my face. But it sure was weird when it went viral.”

Of the viral “get a job” and “stay away from her” comments she once wrote to a superfan who posted a photo with Lovato’s sister, she said, “That’s a whole different story, but it’s really funny to see again.’
