Dell and Nvidia want to build the AI-powered companies of the future

Dell has unveiled a new partnership with Nvidia that aims to help companies adopt more artificial intelligence by addressing the complexities associated with deploying AI.

The announcement at Nvidia GTC 2024 highlights the new Dell AI Factory with Nvidia, an initiative designed to accelerate AI integration across industries, designed to train, tune and run AI models – or as Dell it says: “the entire GenAI life cycle.”

The fully end-to-end AI business solution will integrate Dell’s compute, storage, client device, software and services capabilities with Nvidia’s AI infrastructure and software.

UK SVP for Dell, Steve Young, highlighted the user-friendly nature of the company’s partnership efforts with Nvidia: “Our partnership with NVIDIA allows us to offer our customers a simple and flexible way to manage complex AI requirements.”

Dell also confirmed that it is introducing a rack-scale, high-density liquid-cooled architecture based on the Nvidia Grace Blackwell Supership and that its PowerEdge promises. up to 15x higher AI inference performance and improved efficiency.

“Together, Nvidia and Dell are helping enterprises create AI factories to turn their proprietary data into powerful insights,” said Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia.

Dell AI Factory is available through Dell APEX plans, meaning enterprises can take advantage of pay-as-you-go flexibility without major upfront investments. Dell AI Factory with Nvidia is now also available through traditional channels and is now generally available.
