Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has given his first instruction from ED custody on running the city government, AAP sources said on Sunday.
Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from his official residence on Thursday in connection with an excise-related money laundering case. A court on Friday remanded the AAP’s national convener to the central agency’s custody till March 28.
“He (Kejriwal) has given his first instruction from ED custody. The instructions pertain to the water department of the city government. Water Minister Atishi will announce the instructions later in the day,” the party sources said.
The AAP has said that Kejriwal will remain chief minister even if he is sent to jail.
