Dele Alli’s appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show will help Everton avoid having to pay £10 million to Tottenham as part of the midfielder’s previous move to Goodison Park.
The 28-year-old makes his first televised media appearance since his powerful interview with Gary Neville on The Overlap last year.
Alli previously joined Everton two years ago in a surprise January transfer in an attempt to find a way back to his previous career best form, which saw him play for both Spurs and England.
However, a mix of injuries and problems at Everton have seen Alli make just 13 appearances since, with him yet to make a single league appearance for the Toffees this season.
Everton travel to take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday evening with the aim of putting even more distance between themselves and the drop zone after being deducted two points from the Premier League last week for breaching profit and sustainability rules.

The rules of Everton’s previous deal with Tottenham for Alli’s signature saw him initially transfer on a free transfer, but the club must pay Spurs £10 million if he makes 20 Premier League appearances.
That figure will not be achieved this season as Alli can now play no more than 19 games, even if he plays in every remaining English top-flight match during the end-of-season run-in.
Everton manager Sean Dyche has failed to include Alli in his matchday squad this season

The midfielder has been working towards a return to the pitch this season and looked set to make a comeback before revealing he had suffered a setback at the end of last year.
Alli will instead join Jamie Carragher and David Jones in the Sky studio as Everton attempt to complete a memorable victory in the capital.
Earlier this season, Everton boss Sean Dyche spoke out about Alli’s fitness issues, saying it would be ‘very pleasing’ to have him back after his off-field problems.
“He’s still got a while to go because he’s been out for a long time,” Dyche said in December. “He needs a game show, but it would be really nice for him to get him back working with us because he’s been so unlucky.”
