Deion Sanders was absent from Colorado’s weekly radio show on Thursday as the coach was apparently dealing with a medical issue.
“We’re going to be without Coach Prime here today,” the team’s play-by-play announcer Mark Johnson said.
“We got word again a while back that (he) was a little sick and reacting poorly to his immune infusions, or so I was told.”
However, school officials told police DenverPost that the coach was ‘fine’.
No further comment was made on the publication.

Assistant coach Gary Harrell appeared on the show in place of Sanders.
The 56-year-old Sanders has faced various health problems in recent years.
During his time at Jackson State, two toes were amputated due to poor circulation.
And in July, he was unable to attend Pac 12 media day because he was undergoing a blood clot procedure.
After arriving from Jackson State, Sanders has created enormous hype for a previously dormant Colorado football program.

Celebrities like Lil Wayne, The Rock, Kawhi Leonard and more have traveled to Boulder to watch the Buffaloes, who started the season 3-0.
However, losses to powerhouses Oregon and USC in back-to-back weeks have brought the program back down to earth somewhat.
Colorado travels to Arizona State on Saturday.
