On Monday, X user @spaceyvicky reposted a Facebook post from the alleged woman, who defiantly refused to apologize and even misspelled Kacey’s first name.

“I was an excited fan who happened to reach out hoping to touch her hand and everything seemed normal [to have] turned out to be malicious,” she wrote.

“One thing I can say is that Jesus knows my heart and loves me so much.”

The alleged woman spent most of her post complaining about Musgraves’ fans, who quickly identified her and harassed her social media accounts.

“I just hope none of you experience all of this [nonsense] that’s what’s going on,” she wrote.

“These people comment on TikTok using my full name, post my usernames, post where I live, and then land on my personal accounts hoping to take me down. I regret supporting her music or even buying a VIP to watch her. Which artist calls her fan a “Tampa b****?” Kind regards, I’ve had enough. Don’t ask me any more questions.’

Reaction to the woman’s non-apology was swift, with X user @heavxnis tweeting: ‘Someone who just accidentally did something would immediately have the look on their face. It’s the way she didn’t even respond to Kacey’s response.”

X user @spaceyvicky agreed, writing: ‘The only acceptable response would be to apologize immediately [but] she smiled and seemed so proud of herself [I don’t know].’
