Deebo Samuel OUT of 49ers vs Packers with a shoulder injury in a HUGE scare for San Francisco
Deebo Samuel has been ruled out of the remainder of the San Francisco 49ers’ game against the Packers due to a shoulder injury.
Wide receiver Samuel was filmed leaving the 49ers locker room at halftime without his pads on.
It’s a big loss for San Francisco and potentially huge if they beat the Packers tonight.
The 49ers have struggled to replace him in times gone by when he was injured and the team held a one-point lead at halftime when he was ruled out of the game at 7-6.
Samuel appeared to be hurt on the 49ers’ first drive of the game when he was tackled after a 9-yard gain. He was initially checked for head injuries but was able to return.
But he left the game shortly afterwards with a left shoulder injury. He was not in uniform at the start of the second half.
Samuel also injured his shoulder early in a Week 6 loss at Cleveland and missed the next two games – both losses.
Samuel gained 1,117 yards from scrimmage with 12 touchdowns in the regular season. He had two catches for 24 yards on Saturday.
