Dee Why stabbing: Man is stabbed in the chest on Sydney’s northern beaches
A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest at a popular Sydney beach.
At around 9.30pm on Saturday, police were called to Dee Why beach on Sydney’s Northern Beaches after reports of an attack.
A 34-year-old man was found at the scene with a chest wound.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition, according to police 7News.

A 44-year-old man has been taken to Manly Police Station.
Police have cordoned off a crime scene and are investigating.
