Today at 12.30pm a 37 year old man was arrested following the discovery. He has been taken to Manly Police Station and is assisting with the investigation.

A neighbour of the dead man told Daily Mail Australia the apartment complex was generally a quiet place to live.

“I didn’t hear or see anything, it’s normally a pretty quiet building,” said local resident Kassan.

“It’s a very, very scary thing to happen. I’ve been living in the building for eight months and I found out when the police arrived this morning.”
