Debbie McGee cuts a glamorous figure in a pink and blue satin blouse at the Pantomime Awards

Debbie McGee looked the epitome of chic when she made her appearance at The Pantomime Awards in London on Tuesday.

The stage performer, 64, opted for a pale pink and blue satin blouse for the occasion at London’s Trafalgar Theatre.

The glamorous number had a jeweled hem and touches of yellow and pink tones.

She paired the look with white-lined tailored pants and lifted her body with a pair of gold strappy heels.

Debbie accentuated her natural beauty with a gorgeous makeup palette that included a bright red lip and accessorized with a selection of gold jewelry.

She styled her blonde locks into an elaborate make-up and gave a smirking smile to the cameras ahead of the event.

Vernon Kay also made a classy appearance, taking the award for best newcomer to pantomime for Cinderella.

Vernon looked smart in a navy blue blazer and high-neck top, paired with matching trousers and black shoes.

Sir Ian McKellen also grinned broadly as he accepted the Special Recognition award.

He chose a brown and black checked suit and wore a white shirt underneath.

Traitors star Amanda Lovett also looked stunning at the ceremony, donning a baby pink mini dress.

Smiling alongside her co-star Theo Mayne, the pair made for a breathtaking appearance.

To mark the second year of the Awards, 64 judges attended over 700 performances across the UK during the 2022-2023 season.

Meanwhile, Debbie’s performance comes after she revealed she’s open to finding love following the death of her magician Paul Daniels in 2016.

The stage performer spoke on Good Morning Britain with Richard Madeley and Kate Garraway on Wednesday morning.

Paul and Debbie married in 1988 after the couple rose to fame as a magician and magician’s assistant on the BBC 1 series Paul Daniels Magic Show. He died of brain cancer in 2016, aged 77.

Debbie revealed that while she’s not actively “looking” for another relationship, she would be open to the prospect if it happened.

She said, “Well, I never said I’m ready. I just said if it happens, it happens.

‘Cause I think if you go looking for it, a, you look desperate and, b, you’ll never find it.

“All the people I know who say ‘I wish I could find someone’, men or women, don’t seem to find it or find the right person.” The Strictly Come Dancing finalist also shed light on her life without Paul, revealing how she’s stayed positive after his loss.

She continued, “Life is never the same when you lose someone. There’s that hole. You can’t fill that gap…just take each day as it comes.

“But what you can do is accept that they’re gone is the most important thing and then just take each day as it comes.”

‘I’m so lucky to have a wonderful family, great friends, everywhere I go people are nice to me.

“I’d say I’m embracing every minute of my life now and accepting that it’s different than when I was with Paul, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be as good.

“I’m just lucky to have had this great life and now I’m still having a great life.”

It comes after Debbie revealed that strangers hugged her in the street after the death of her magician husband.

The stage performer spoke with Coleen Nolan at the Let’s talk about sadness podcast, explaining that being in the public eye helped her grieve.

On the show, Debbie revealed, “People said to me, ‘What’s it like being in the public eye and going through it? It must be terrible.” And I said, “No, it’s the opposite.”

“When you’re someone nobody knows, you walk around with your sadness inside and they don’t know why you’re grumpy or sad.

“But when you’re in the public eye, they know what you’re going through. People weren’t pushy, but mostly women came up to me, gave me a hug and walked away. They said nothing and it meant so much.’

Debbie continued, ‘Because for the first few years that pain inside you is so strong that you put on a smiley face and move on with life.

“But you walk through the shops in tremendous pain… I can’t describe it, but, you know, a little in your diaphragm.”

Debbie continued, “I guess for the first few years after Paul’s death I didn’t realize how vulnerable I was because your support blanket was suddenly gone.”
