REVEALED: What the presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris said to each other when the debate mics were turned off

The rules of Tuesday’s ABC News presidential debate required both candidates to mute their microphones when the other candidate spoke, to prevent them from interrupting each other.

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, however, often spoke with their microphones turned off.

Harris protested Trump’s statements loudly and clearly, calling them false.

A group of reporters from the vice president were allowed into the debate room to watch the candidates speak, even though their microphones were muted.
