DeAnna Pappas officially filed for divorce from Stephen Stagliano after recently announcing their split on social media.

The 41-year-old reality star has filed for dissolution of marriage in Los Angeles County courts, according to an article published Tuesday by The explosion.

Pappas has filed for sole physical custody of their eight-year-old daughter Addison and six-year-old son Austin.

The former The Bachelorette star filed for spousal support and sought to end her ability to collect anything, according to the filing.

Pappas took to Instagram on Thursday to announce his separation from Stagliano, 39, after they tied the knot in October 2011 in Georgia.

“It is with immense sadness that Stephen and I have decided to end our relationship as a couple. We have been working hard for a long time, both as a married couple and individually, and have come to the conclusion to stay apart,” she posted.

We remain loving parents to our beautiful children, Addison and Austin, and will continue to raise them together in love and faith. We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time as we navigate the new normal. We want to thank our dear friends and family for their endless support and many, many prayers during what has become the most difficult time of our lives,” she added.

Pappas first appeared on The Bachelor season 11 in 2007, starring 50-year-old Brad Womack, and was crushed during the season finale when it sent her home along with co-finalist Jenni Croft.

She then went on to star in the fourth season of The Bachelorette which ended with an engagement to 40-year-old professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak.

Their relationship lasted only a few months before the engagement was called off.

Pappas later met Stagliano through his twin brother, Michael Stagliano, who appeared on the fifth season of The Bachelorette, starring Jillian Harris.

In 2018, Pappas said us weekly: ‘We think you’re crazy if you don’t go to therapy. We are all a product of our environment and how we were raised, and none of us is perfect.’

During the same interview, Pappas quipped, “I’m sure Stephen would like us to have regular sex.” … But we tried.
