Dean Gaffney has become a grandfather for the second time, after one of his twin daughters, Chloe, 25, gave birth.
The former EastEnders actor, 44, took to Instagram on Friday to announce the happy news.
He wrote: ‘Grandson number 2! Welcome to the world baby Penelope. Birth: 01-23-23/ 6lbs 10oz. It’s good that Mimi has a sister.

The former soap opera star shared a snapshot of the newborn as she lay warm under a textured blanket.
Dean became a grandfather for the first time in July 2021 when his daughter Chloe gave birth to their little girl Mimi.
The star, who is most famous for playing the hapless Robbie in the BBC soap EastEnders, took to Instagram at the time to share a photo of himself cradling the boy in his arms and looking down fondly at the newborn.

Dean captioned the photo: “Welcome to this crazy world my beautiful granddaughter Mimi.” I am very happy to announce that I am a GRANDPA’.
She added: ‘I can’t believe my baby is now a mother, proud is an understatement. Chloe and Declan are going to be amazing parents. X Baby Mimi, born: 07.07.2021.. 7 lbs 14 oz.’
He joked to his 88k followers: “Just to say thank you all in advance, I know I don’t look old enough to be a father let alone a grandfather!”

The actor shares twins, Chloe and Charlotte, with his former partner Sarah Burge.
The couple met when they were just 15 years old and dated for 22 years before announcing their split in June 2015 after he admitted to cheating on her with a series of women.
Dean, who has reportedly slept with over 1,000 women, dated Rebekah Ward in 2016, shortly after his split from Sarah.

However, in March 2019, the actor was reportedly dumped by his model girlfriend after three years together.
The blonde bombshell told the actor to “take a walk” after she got “bored with his antics and felt like a trophy on his arm.” Sun reported at the time.
A source said: “She grew bored with his antics and felt like a trophy on his arm, not a treasured girlfriend he wanted to marry.”
‘Dean was devastated when it happened, but Rebekah had reached the end of her rope and left him.
“She feels like she’s better off on her own and seeing that Dean thinks she’s some kind of stud.
‘He’ll no doubt manage to charm someone else into being his girlfriend in no time.’
