Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are no strangers to finding celebrity godparents for their children. Now, their newest godparents have been revealed.
The 47-year-old Deadpool & Wolverine star and the 36-year-old It Ends With Us actress enlisted their good friend Taylor Swift as godmother to their four young children: daughters James, nine, Inez, seven, Betty, four, and Olin, one.
It’s still unclear exactly when Olin, whose name and gender were only confirmed late last month, was born. Ryan and Blake have already been carefully releasing the details.
Around the same time, Taylor Swift confirmed that she was the godmother of the acting couple’s youngest child.
Now Olin’s godfather has come forward and he has a major connection to Ryan’s latest blockbuster.

In an interview published by Variety on Monday that focused on the making of Deadpool & Wolverine, director Shawn Levy admitted that he accepted the responsibility of being Olin’s godfather.
Levy excitedly recounted how all four of Ryan and Blake’s children got cameos as alternate-universe versions of Deadpool.
“Little by little, all the Reynoldses started being a part of the film, including their youngest,” he explained. “As Olin’s proud godfather, that might be my favorite voice cameo.”
He did not elaborate on his role as Olin’s godfather, and it is unclear who the godfather is for James, Inez and Betty.
Olin eventually provided the vocals for a briefly featured character known as Babypool.
Blake also joined the film, making a cameo as Ladypool, a female version of Deadpool who appears to be Babypool’s mother. Inez also provided her voice for Kidpool.
James also played a screaming mutant.
Betty was the only one of the four children who did not appear to have a cameo in the film, although she was credited at the end of the film as “Hugh Jackman wrangler.”
In April, Shawn admitted that People that he and Ryan had become “very good friends” after working together repeatedly.

In fact, he now lives only half a block away from Ryan and Blake.
Shawn, who like Ryan hails from Canada, has developed a significant friendship after working together on 2021’s Free Guy, followed by the Netflix sci-fi film The Adam Project.
After Tim Miller directed the first Deadpool film and David Leitch the second, Levy took over the franchise with Deadpool & Wolverine to once again team up with his friend.
Before that, he made his name directing popular comedies including Night At The Museum and Date Night. He also worked with Deadpool & Wolverine star Hugh Jackman on 2011’s Real Steel.
