Dead baby found in bathroom of Manhattan restaurant
A dead baby was found in the bathroom of a Manhattan restaurant on Monday.
The newborn’s body was discovered at Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in the city’s financial district.
Police responded to the scene after a 911 call just before 10 a.m. EST, 30 minutes before the restaurant was scheduled to open that day.

Police are investigating whether someone left the baby inside on Sunday or this morning.
The age of the newborn remains unclear.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, an NYPD spokesperson told DailyMail.com.
