Two Florida women have been arrested and charged with child abuse after disturbing footage surfaced showing the two men throwing a baby “like a toy,” possibly breaking her arm.

The horrific moment was caught on camera by concerned strangers and surveillance footage outside the Coyote Ugly Saloon on Seabreeze Boulevard in Daytona Beach on Thursday, September 14.

Brianna Lafoe, 19, and Sierrah Newell, 20, were arrested in bikinis outside the bar in the early hours when police responded to a call from concerned onlookers, local news reported.

Lafoe can be seen in bar surveillance footage tossing the baby up and down over his head before casually holding him to the side while confronting onlookers.

The baby was taken to the Halifax Health Center “with red marks on his back,” where an X-ray revealed a mark that “may indicate a broken arm,” a police affidavit regarding the incident states.

Lafoe was also charged with battery and held on $3,500 bail. Newell has since been released, the New York Post reported.

A witness, who took video of the shocking incident that has not been made public, told police the women were drunk and threw the child and knocked him down outside the bar.

They rocked the baby back and forth “like a toy” for a distance of about 4 feet, according to the police report.

Newell allegedly threatened bystanders who tried to intervene, police said.

The woman, while holding the baby in her arms, then walked towards one of the passers-by and hit her.

“She started throwing the baby up and down a little too aggressively,” witness Jahada Rasheed told WESH.

“Then she put the baby upside down. It was like waiting. This goes way too far,” Rasheed told the outlet.

Lafoe, meanwhile, also knocked the baby over by the ankles and attempted to hit the woman with one of Newell’s crutches, according to the affidavit.

She also “actually and intentionally struck (the woman who was initially recording) in the right arm with an open hand,” police said in the affidavit.

It’s unclear who the baby belongs to, but Newell’s mother was at the scene during the incident and the Department of Children and Families is investigating whether she can take custody of the child, according to Fox 35.

Police later confirmed that the child had left the hospital.
