Days Of Our Lives’ Brandon Barash, 43, reveals he is expecting child with wife Isabella Devoto, 23

Days Of Our Lives star Brandon Barash revealed that he and his younger wife are expecting their first child together just five months into their marriage.

The 43-year-old actor – who is already a father to nine-year-old daughter Harper – revealed in an Instagram post on Sunday that his 23-year-old new wife Isabella Devoto was pregnant.

Brandon could be seen with his hand on his partner’s burgeoning baby bump as they stood next to his daughter and their dog.

He captioned the image: “In January our family lost a mother… and then we gained one. Baby Barash is coming to you September 2023.

‘The Barash Brood continues to grow. Grateful does not begin to describe. Happy Mother’s Day, my queen. [prayer hands, red heart, and baby bottle emojis] #grateful #mother’s day.’

Brandon and Isabella met in July 2019 when he was 40 years old and she was 19 years old.

Six years after his divorce, the actor married his much younger fiancé Isabella on Saturday, December 17, in front of 145 guests at the North Ranch Country Club in Thousand Oaks.

Brandon is an accomplished actor, while his young bride’s most recent jobs include nursing assistant and Spanish medical interpreter LinkedIn.

‘I tell Isa that all the time. And it’s cliché, but I feel like the happiest man in the world,” Brandon said People.

“We are excited to start a new adventure together.”

Barash and Devoto – who are planning to honeymoon in Spain – made sure to invite his DOOL castmates Victoria Konefal, Dan Feuerriegel, Carson Boatman, Shawn Christian, Ari Zucker and lead writer Ron Carlivati.

The St. Louis-born, Texas-raised actor also made sure to invite his former General Hospital castmates Eric Martsolf, Bradford Anderson, Shawn Christian, and Bradford Anderson.

DJ RedShoe kept the guests dancing while Melissa Jean Boothe (MJB Cakes) baked the gold-adorned, four-layer lemon curd and chocolate wedding cake for the couple.

Barash would never have met the love of his life in July 2019 if Harper hadn’t brought them together at her Spanish summer camp, Kallpachay Spanish Immersion, where Isabella worked part-time as an assistant teacher.

“I credit her for the whole relationship. We actually do both. They were in a relationship before we were,” the Good Trouble guest star told People.

And it was so funny because she was just a little matchmaker and she had really never been with anyone like that before. I was a single dad for a while and there was something about Isa that Harper just felt connected to.

And for the longest time it was like, “Hey daddy, you and Isa, you two would be pretty good together.” I said to her, “You’re five. How do you know what that means? What does that even mean? Good together?” And she’d say, “Well, you guys just seem to be really good together as boyfriend and girlfriend.”
