A loving mother of two had recently separated from her husband, who is behind bars in remand for alleged drug supply, before she was allegedly murdered by her new boyfriend.

Dayna Isaac, 28, was found dead inside her Colless Street unit in Penrith, west of Sydney, at around 4:15pm on Monday by the mother of her new boyfriend, Paul Sultana.

Police had been called to the 28-year-old’s home at 2:30pm for a ‘disturbance’ before finding her burnt-out car in a bush 13km away, near Castlereagh.

Sultana, 32, was charged with his murder on Tuesday afternoon. She will face Penrith Local Court on Wednesday morning.

The alleged murder of Ms. Isaac comes less than two years after she separated from her now ex-husband, Mikkel Isaac.

The married couple were living in Bathurst, 200 kilometers west of Sydney, when they were arrested in March 2021.

Since then, he vowed to “take care of our girls until we meet again.”

Police raided their home during a drug raid and charged them with a series of drug-related charges.

Ms. Isaac’s charges were eventually narrowed down to involvement in supplying a prohibited drug and supplying a commercial quantity of cannabis.

She was granted bail at Bathurst Local Court, however her bail came at a devastating cost to their relationship: the judge released her from jail on the condition that she not communicate with her husband or the other four arrested in the raids.

Less than two years later, Ms Isaac was allegedly murdered by her new boyfriend inside her Penrith flat.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that Ms Isaac’s ex-husband was involved in her death.

Her ex-husband was charged with 33 crimes following the raid and is still in police custody.

Although some of his charges have been dropped, Mr. Isaac remains charged with supplying a commercial quantity of cannabis, supplying a handgun without a dealer, acquiring a prohibited firearm and driving a vehicle with a suspended license.

He was denied bail on December 9 and will appear in Penrith District Court on February 3.

The former couple married in 2017 and have two young daughters together, who were not with their mother when she died.

Since then, he posted an emotional message on Facebook, explaining that the couple had maintained a good relationship.

‘I love you always and forever. I promise to take care of our daughters until we meet my angel again,” Isaac wrote.

Isaac, who restores used cars, also has two children of elementary school age.

On March 8, 2021, two days before the Isaacs’ home was raided, the couple was jokingly trying to “sell” themselves in local buy and sell groups on Facebook.

In the post, Mr. Isaac uploaded a photo of himself and his wife and wrote: “Because he ran out of money to build cars, I have to sell something worthwhile as I don’t want to sell any of my cars, so I thought.” I’ll put my wife on the list.’

‘Open to offers of interest, the price is not less than 50k, since it has low k (kilometres), always up to date with all services, cooks very well.’

Close friends laughed in the comments, joking that his wife was worth well over $50,000.

Ms Isaac wrote the comment: ‘I think you should edit the ad ‘after seeing this post no longer run’, before posting your own ‘for sale’ ad in another local group.

“Husband free to a good home,” she wrote, above a photo of them together.

‘She doesn’t cook, she doesn’t clean, she never changes the toilet paper. She steers well, but the box slips. Honestly, he doesn’t even have to go to a good home, I would consider paying you to take him off my hands.

“The only good thing about him is that he is a good father, but he does not come with the children. Serious offers only.

Ms. Isaac was prohibited from contacting her husband and his six co-defendants, following their arrest in March 2021.

On Monday afternoon, police had received reports of a disturbance at the house between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

A neighbor had called the police to report a ‘disturbance’ at Ms Isaac’s home, but when officers arrived at the unit, no one answered the door and they left.

Officers found Ms Isaac’s burnt-out car in the bushes at 3:45pm, 13km from her home near Castlereagh, in the north-west of the town.

Half an hour later, Ms Isaac’s body was discovered by Mr Sultana’s mother, who had come to see her, police say.

He then drove to Penrith Police Station and informed the officers of his terrible find.

Sultana was arrested around 3:25 a.m. Tuesday and charged with her murder.

He will face Penrith Local Court on Wednesday.

NSW Police Acting Superintendent Carlene Mahoney said he and Ms Isaac had been friends for a long time and only started dating in recent months.

“Police were informed that there was a disturbance on the premises and they attended and later identified the deceased as being on the premises,” Superintendent Mahoney said.

A friend of the mother-of-two said she was the “most beautiful, caring, selfless” person she had ever met.

“She lit up the room and was the life of the party,” the woman, who requested anonymity, told Daily Mail Australia.

“She was an amazing, loving mother to two beautiful girls who absolutely adored her, and I’m so proud to call her not just my friend, but my sister.”

Another friend wrote on Facebook: ‘RIP beautiful girl I will miss you’.

The inhabitants of the area have been shaken by the news of the death of their neighbor.

A local resident said she saw police cars lined up on the street when she arrived at her home Monday afternoon.

“I just heard the news, I was shocked,” he said.

‘This area is pretty quiet, you don’t hear much going on around here. It tends to be more in Cranebrook.

Another woman who lives in the same building as Ms. Isaac said she woke up this morning to the property taped up and police officers searching the place.

“It was pretty scary, I was at work yesterday and I found out on Facebook that a woman had died on my street,” he said.

“When I got home late last night, there was only one police officer there, but when I left the building this morning, they were everywhere.”

Police urge anyone who may have information that could help detectives to come forward and contact Penrith Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
