A driver has been charged over a crash that left five members of two young families dead after an SUV crashed through a crowded pub beer garden.
A 66-year-old man from Mount Macedon was charged following the fatal crash in Daylesford, northwest of Melbourne, on November 5.
Young boy Vihaan Bhatia, 11, was murdered along with his father Vivek, 38, and family friends Pratibha Sharma, 44, Jatin Chugh, 30, and Ms Sharma's daughter Anvi, nine.
The 66-year-old will appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court via video link on Monday.
