Dax Shepard busted for focusing his attention on the wrong thing at Golden Globes

Dax Shepard revealed his “priorities” when he was caught focusing on the wrong thing at the Golden Globes.

On Sunday, the 50-year-old actor was summoned by his wife Kristen Bell through her Instagram story who shared a clip of the CHiPs star watching the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings football game on his phone.

Harrison Ford and Anthony Mackie were on stage to present the award for Best Animated Feature when the camera panned to Shepard, in a suit and tie, with his phone between his knees.

The Frozen voice actress wrote “#priorities #detroitlions @daxshepard” above the clip. Ultimately, the Lions defeated the Vikings 31-9 in the NFL game.

Bell, 44, was up for a Golden Globe for best TV actress in a comedy or musical for her role in Nobody Wants This, but lost the trophy to Jean Smart for her role in Hacks.

Earlier in the evening, the Baby Mama star and his wife posed stormily on the red carpet with their arms around each other’s waists.

Bell looked radiant in a glittering rose gold bustier from Ashi Studio and a matching floor-length skirt that showed off her tiny waist and enviable figure.

The strapless dress showed off her defined collarbone and toned biceps as she wore her blonde locks in a center-parted ponytail.

Shepard looked dapper in a suit and tie, adding a casual touch to his look with a pair of plaid Vans sneakers.

In September, the blonde vixen opened up to People Magazine about why she loves her show Nobody Wants This, emphasizing that it’s a “modern rom-com.”

“I love that the characters are what, 38? And that it covers everything from the dangers of dating apps to what it actually means for people with different backgrounds and perspectives on life to bridge those differences in the name of love,” she told the outlet.

“It’s an adult rom-com.”

On Thursday, the iconic duo celebrated Shepard’s 50th birthday and the mother of two took to her Instagram page to share a sweet photo of the actor and their daughters.

“Congratulations to the most affectionate 220-pound man to ever exist. I can’t imagine life without you,” she wrote in the caption.

Bell and Shepard married on October 17, 2013 in an intimate courthouse ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, six years after meeting at a mutual friend’s dinner party.

The couple was just mothers before they said “I do” and welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln, 11, on March 28, 2013. They later welcomed their second daughter, Delta, nine, on December 19, 2014.

In September 2024, Bell admitted that her daughters “don’t have phones” due to privacy concerns.

“They have iPods that they can use for music and stuff, and I think they can text with grandma at home because it’s on the Wi-Fi,” she said during an appearance on The View.
