Dawesville WA: Sudden death of man whose body was discovered near a service station leads to police probe

A man has died after being found unconscious near a petrol station in Western Australia.

Paramedics were called to the scene in Dawesville, south of Mandurah, before 4am on Friday, where they discovered the man near an Ampol petrol station.

He was taken by ambulance to Peel Health Campus but later died.

Detectives closed a portion of Old Coast Road and Bailey Boulevard in Dawesville.

Mandurah homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
