Speaking with The sunshe answered “no” both times when asked whether she was engaged to Michael or planned to marry in the future.

She gave her reasons for her refusal and continued: ‘That’s not even on the table, that’s just not there. He’s [married before] so we both just feel happy, let’s not rock the boat. let’s just keep things a secret.

“We’re not interested. I’ve known Michael for so many years [before we got together] that there were no questions to ask like that. I know him. It was easy.’

Davina shut down any further questions about her love life by saying: ‘I love Michael. And I always feel like it’s too precious to talk about it in public. I just want to keep it to myself.’

Davina and Michael were old friends and first met when he styled her hair during her Big Brother presenting stint.

Last January, Davina confirmed that she and Michael moved in together and the couple had already started creating ‘new traditions’.

The Masked Singer judges revealed that her long-time hairdresser moved in with her before Christmas 2022 and that they watched The King’s Speech together with Davina’s sister Rebecca.

“It’s really fun to create new traditions because we were doing that before Christmas. We sat down and talked about it: ‘Okay, empty space, what are we going to make a tradition from now on?'”

A month later, Davina revealed that she lets Michael check on her via a video app when she’s not there.

In their podcast, the TV star revealed that hairdresser Michael will send short video messages to his loved one to keep him/her updated on his/her evening.

Although Davina stresses that she is not the ‘jealous’ type, she says that the checks after going out give her a good feeling.

She explained: ‘When Michael goes out without me, I get the most FOMO [fear of missing out] usually I just invite myself and show up.

‘It’s a simple app where you record a message and the person can watch it live or whenever they want… I prefer receiving a video message than a written message.

“And throughout the night I get five 10-second messages from you, getting progressively drunker and cuter and reaching out more and more and saying, ‘Hey, we’re having a great time, Sam’s coming with us,'” she said.

In the morning I felt involved and I think if I were left to my own devices I would imagine myself joining the cast of Moulin Rouge or the box office [went to] “A sex club,” she said, laughing.

She kept insisting, “I”I’m not jealous or funny when you go out, but it’s fun to be around.’

Davina confirmed in November 2017 that her 17-year marriage had ended, telling MailOnline: ‘I’m really sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.

“Our wonderful children are our highest priority, above all else, and we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible as our family navigates this difficult time.”

The former couple have three children: Holly, 22, Tilly, 20, and their 17-year-old son Chester.

Davina married the former Pet Rescue presenter in 2000 in a lavish ceremony at Eastnor Castle in Hertfordshire.

The beloved presenter’s first marriage to Andrew Leggett ended after just a few months in 1997. A few months later, she met Matthew by chance while walking her dog on Clapham Common.
