Her fans were thrilled with the photo as they were impressed by her impressive figure.

This came after Davina revealed last month that her best friend Sarah Hiscox locked her in a car to address her drug use, which ultimately turned out to be the reason she stopped taking drugs.

The TV presenter said the difficult conversation came after she had gotten into a “bit of a mess” on heroin and lost all her friends except writer Sarah.

Guest on the podcast of mother-daughter duo Andi and Miquita Oliver The riot podcast Davina brought along her best friend of 37 years, Sarah.

Andi revealed in the episode that she had known both guests since they were teenagers, with Davina even babysitting a young Miquita before the group delved into the former Big Brother host’s drug problems.

Davina recalls a day when Sarah pretended to drive her to Santana’s, before taking the opportunity to point out her friend’s drug addiction.

This was a turning point for Davina and led her to seek help for her addiction, out of fear of losing her good friend.

It was a bit of a mess and [with heroin] ‘I was very rigid and limited about it,’ Davina said. ‘I quit my job because that was the problem – I was getting worse.

“I left my boyfriend because that was the problem – it got worse… and then I was left alone with myself. No one really wanted to hang out with me. I was one of those people who fell asleep at dinner parties.”

Thinking back to that day, she continued, “[Sarah] put me in a car and we were going to go see Santana and then she locked the car door. She said, “I’m not taking you to Santana, I just wanted to talk to you.”

‘I had moved back in with my mother and father because I had no money and no friends anymore. I was really at rock bottom and [Sarah] “I know you lied to me, I know you told me you were clean, but I can see that you’re not.”

Sarah told Davina that she was ‘the topic of conversation at every dinner I went to, every cup of coffee I had with friends… everywhere I go, we talk about you’.

This angered Davina and in an emotional response she cursed at her friend and left the car crying. But Sarah’s word stuck with her.

Davina said: ‘I thought, “Well f**k you, f**k you!” I got out of the car, slammed the door and my heart just burst in two.

‘Turn around from the car, start crying, walk to the door thinking I’m not f***ing going to turn around. Sit on the bed – which is like a camp bed because my parents didn’t have a bedroom for me to sleep in – just sit there and think “What the f***, this is my life, what have I f***ing done?” I’ve lost my only friend, I just told her to fuck off, I’m devastated.’

Davina then called an addict who had recovered and whom she had met before, and began her recovery process.

‘I cried all night, woke up the next morning and went straight to bed. [Sarah’s] office and brought her a bunch of crappy, cheap flowers because I had no money and said, “I don’t expect you to believe me, but I do want to get clean. I’m sorry for what I said.”

During the podcast, Davina started to cry as she recalled the moment. She then turned to Sarah and said: ‘I saw you looking suspicious, like, “Show me.” I thought, “Oh, I’ve really ruined it, it’s not going to get fixed.” I thought, I really have to do this.

“And it seemed like I was okay with losing everyone except Sarah.”

Asked what prompted Sarah to try the ‘tough love’ effect with her girlfriend, she said: ‘I really loved her. We had become good friends and I didn’t want to lose her.’

But the couple said their friendship was mutual in this regard, as years later Sarah herself struggled with addiction, which led to her divorce.

But Sarah’s husband and Davina joined forces to help the woman they both adored, she got clean and remarried him.

“I had to post this right away,” she wrote. “Because my best friend @sarahhiscox and I just spent an idyllic 3 hours with two very old friends. We’ve known @andioliver since we were teenagers and I babysat @miquitaoliver.

‘I love this podcast, it was beyond exciting to be on it. To be honest I completely forgot we were recording a podcast (@stirringitup), it just felt like an amazing meeting with really old friends… we laughed, we cried.

‘Okay, well, I cried. It was like therapy with f**king good food, which in my opinion is the best kind of therapy… connecting with old friends. Food for the soul.’
