She continued: ‘The more people say, “You shouldn’t do that,” the more I’m going to do it. It’s kind of motivation.
“And that’s why I post all my workout videos. So if I do a workout in the morning and someone comments below it, ‘Oh, thanks, you just reminded me I’m going today,’ that’s awesome.”
In August, Davina made a splash when she showed off her time-defying figure in a red ruffled two-piece, paired with cowboy boots, a photo that garnered almost 80,000 likes.
She paired the bandeau bikini with a red bag that she carried over her shoulders and large sunglasses, while her brunette locks fell in loose waves.
A lot of Davina’s celebrity friends raved about the photo of the star, with former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts saying she ‘picked her jaw up off the floor’.
“I’m on vacation,” Davina captioned the post. “I had to. Anyone up for tea??”
Last week, Davina explained why she refuses to act or dress her age and revealed that the new series of My Mum, Your Dad has made her cry.
The second series of My Mum, Your Dad on ITV will air in September and will follow middle-aged single parents looking for love, with their children watching their every move.

Ahead of her return, Davina spoke about what she has in common with the contestants and shared a particularly touching moment from the new series.
Davina said: ‘Our age group, we’re the first of a new generation of midlifers. We’re the people who were at raves, we were doing drugs, we’re the pioneers. We were naughty, we were fun, we were outrageous – and then we had kids.
“We’re settled, we’ve been good people for 18 years, and now we’re like, ‘Okay, let’s go again.’ It’s like we’re getting a second chance at life, and we’re making sure the kids see that second chance.”
Davina took to Instagram to respond to body shaming allegations after they accused her of being “too thin” in May.
She shared a video in response to the comments, which she said made her “furious.”

She slammed the “cruel” internet trolls who she said would only “accept the ridicule” as a celebrity, before declaring that she “felt absolutely amazing and looked fantastic”.
Telling fans: ‘I thought I would make a quick post about the kind of, I guess more like abuse, that I’m getting about my weight. It’s really frustrating.’
“I feel like people post stuff like this and there’s no consequence because they can post whatever they want and just be mean. I just have to accept it.”
‘I was actually just sitting here with an angry feeling, so I thought: I can just get it off my chest here.’
She continued, “I’m a 5’6″ woman, 130 pounds. I don’t diet. I exercise. I eat relatively healthy, and I enjoy sharing that journey with people.”

Davina hit out at the ‘cruel’ trolls she expected as a celebrity who would only ‘accept’ the ‘mockery’ before declaring she ‘felt and looked absolutely f***ing amazing’
‘I’m 57 this year and I’m happy with the way I look and I feel absolutely f***ing amazing. And so I thought I’d put that out there.
“I can’t really do much about my neck and my face unless I fill it with filler. I don’t know what to do about my neck is my neck.
“And maybe the lighting was bad or something, and that goes for everyone, but just look at the rest of my posts on my page and you’ll see that I’m not unhealthy.”
She concluded by saying, “But this was, like, horrible. So I’m going to park that there and just say maybe you should think before you post something.
“Wouldn’t it be more fun to say something positive? And if you can’t say anything positive, don’t bother.”
