David Moyes recalls awkward moment he was caught on camera singing THAT vulgar West Ham chant about Jarrod Bowen and partner Dani Dyer

Former West Ham United manager David Moyes has recalled how he was caught on camera singing a controversial fan chant after the 2023 Europa Conference League final.
The song was about Hammers striker Jarrod Bowen and his partner Dani Dyer, daughter of actor and TV presenter Danny Dyer.
It was sung to the tune of Gala’s ‘Freed From Desire’ and contained the X-rated lyrics: ‘Bowen’s on fire and he’s s***ging Dani Dyer.’
Bowen has scored 60 goals for West Ham over the past three seasons.
His most famous of those sixty goals was a 90th-minute winner against Fiorentina in June 2023 at the Fortuna Arena in Prague.

Bowen’s winner gave the Hammers their first European title since 1965 and was followed by wild celebrations.
Amid these celebrations, Moyes and his players joined the West Ham fans in singing a boisterous chorus, ‘Bowen’s on Fire’.
Moyes was asked about his involvement in this earlier this month during an appearance on the ‘Football Music & Me’ podcast with Geoff Shreeves.
Shreeves asked Moyes: ‘Will you join in when the crowd sings Dani Dyer’s song?’
After laughing awkwardly, a grinning Moyes – who left West Ham at the end of the 2023/24 season – replied: ‘You know something? The camera caught me singing it in Prague and I had to walk away after the last few lines.
“I had to turn my back and walk away, but I was definitely singing it anyway.
“After I scored that goal, I was actually singing it.”

Bowen and Dyer have been in a relationship since 2021 and have three children together

Bowen and Dyer went public with their relationship in December 2021 and have since welcomed three children into the world.
Earlier this year, Dyer was asked to appear on the ‘Straight to the comments!’ podcast for her thoughts on the song about her husband being on fire.
She replied, “Not so long ago I went to an away game, and usually I don’t like going to the away games because there are die-hard fans who are crazy.
‘I really needed something to drink, so I thought, honestly, I would rather have died of dehydration, that was the better option.
“I came out and they were all looking at me and they were all singing the song, I was literally in the middle of the crowd. It’s fine, it’s so good, it really doesn’t bother me.’
Bowen is currently on international duty with England at the 2024 European Championship. He earned his eighth senior cap for the Three Lions in a 3-0 friendly win over Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier this month.
