According to reports, David de Gea could be considered for a return to Spain.
De Gea has confirmed he is leaving Manchester United with teammates shocked by the manner of his departure after 12 years at the club.
The 32-year-old’s contract expired at the end of June, but he had remained in talks until last week. But with Erik ten Hag clearly looking for Inter Milan’s Andre Onana to become his new number one, De Gea decided it was best to find a new club, with offers from the Saudi Pro League on the table.
De Gea said: “Now is the right time to take on a new challenge to push myself again in a new environment.”
And tokens claim that the Spaniard is wanted by Sevilla in case their goalkeeper Yassine Bounou leaves the club.
Bounou has been linked with both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich this summer.
According to reports, David de Gea could be considered for a return to Spain.
In an emotional message, De Gea addressed supporters and said: “I was incredibly proud every time I put on this shirt, to lead the team, to represent this institution. football players.

Ten Hag paid tribute to De Gea, saying: “It takes a lot of quality and character to reach the level of even playing one game for Manchester United.
