Styling her blonde locks in an updo, she completed her look with a black jacket and matching trousers.

Back in January, the Daily Mail revealed that David had split from his wife Karen Minier, 48, as he was pictured kissing and cuddling with Sigrid without his wedding ring.

David, who has won 13 Grands Prix and is now a television commentator, has not been pictured wearing a wedding ring since January last year.

He married Belgian TV presenter Karen in Monaco in 2013. They met in 2005 when she covered the Grand Prix for French TV channel TF1. Their son Dayton was born in 2008.

At the time, David described the birth as “the start of a fantastic period” in his life and said “winning 13 races seems completely insignificant in comparison”.

He once hailed his wife as a “fantastic kisser”, adding: “I did my research to confirm that she is the best.” But he was less excited when talking about their wedding day.

He said Guardian 2015 that it was not the best day of his life and that they decided to marry their son.

He said: ‘Karen and I got married because we had a child together and I had no intention of marrying anyone else.

“We have been together for ten years and we got married at the registry office in Monaco.

“I don’t want to de-romanticize it – but I don’t accept that it’s the best day of my life.” On the other hand, when the school nurse called me recently to say that my son had injured himself, the fear of negative conversation sank into my body.’

Their last public appearance was at Wimbledon in 2019 – but they were pictured having lunch with Amanda Holden and her husband Chris Hughes on the French Riviera in July 2020.

David was best man at Hughes’ 2008 wedding to the Britain’s Got Talent judge, who follows Sigrid on Instagram. Pictures on her page show her posing topless and modeling underwear.

This is not the first time that David has dated a model. He was previously engaged to American Heidi Wihlinski and was in a four-year relationship with Brazilian Simone Abdelnour.

A source told MailOnline: “David split from his wife over a year ago and Sigrid has been introduced to the whole family, including his son, and everything is harmonious.”
