David Bowie’s daughter shared a fun throwback video of herself and her late father dancing along to nursery rhymes.
The singer died of liver cancer on January 10, 2016 at the age of 69 after keeping his illness a secret from the world.
And Lexi, 22 — full name Alexandria Zahra Jones — fondly remembered her dad on Tuesday when she took to Instagram with an adorable clip from when she was little.
The video, believed to have been filmed by her mother and Bowie’s widow – supermodel Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid – showed a young Lexi dancing on her father’s toes.
Dressed casually in a green sweater and jeans, Bowie adored his daughter and held her hands as they danced along to the rhyme Sing a Song of Sixpence.

The glam rocker, known for songs like Space Oddity and Under Pressure, could be heard singing along to the rhyme before continuing to ‘pick her nose’.
After Lexi failed to fall for his trick, the two continued to dance along as their song played in the background on the TV.
David even showed off his unique dance moves for the camera as his little girl giggled away.

David also shared a son, Duncan Jones – also known as Zowie Bowie – with his first wife Angie Bowie.
In April, it was reported that Lexi is following in her father’s footsteps and making music herself, while also following her mother’s footsteps and dipping her toes into the world of modeling.

During the pandemic, 67-year-old Iman revealed that her daughter had helped her become more body-positive while they were cooped up together.
The supermodel said that after complaining to Lexi about her eight-pound pandemic weight gain and how she no longer fits in her pants, her daughter simply told her to “buy a bigger pair.”
