David Beckham has worked his way through a plethora of hairstyles during his time in the public eye.
From a mohawk to ponytails, cornrows and bleached blonde hair, he’s never been afraid to experiment and has become synonymous with edgy dos.
And it looks like the former footballer, 48, isn’t done yet, after debuting a new buzzcut on his Instagram Stories on Sunday.
The star offered the camera a serious pose as he stared into the camera and took a selfie of his new look, which was reminiscent of his Manchester United days in the 2000s.
Captioning the photo, he wrote, “Not much changes, I’m bored of my hair, cut it off,” in a move that came after he gave an interview about his haircuts and admitted he was most ashamed of his cornrows from 2003.

“I had them fitted on Saturday and on Monday I flew to South Africa with the England team for a match.
“I have met the greeting Nelson Mandela. And the image I have of Nelson Mandela is of me holding his hand with cornrows in my hair. That’s my only regret.’
His most controversial look, he says, was his iconic mohawk, which caused the most trouble in 2000 when his then Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson, told him to shave it off in the dressing room as soon as he saw it.
Speaking to England football coach Gary Neville, David explained, “Probably the mohawk. It wasn’t until the gaffer saw it and he made me shave it in the locker room.
As for his favorite haircut, he also revealed what he thought was his best haircut ever, adding that he would love to do that in a heartbeat.
Referring to his current haircut at the time, he joked, “Except this one?”, before adding, “I always loved the skinhead because it was easy, you didn’t have to do anything with it, so I loved the skinhead.” ‘
Meanwhile, it looks like David and his youngest son Romeo will fit in together for a while, after Romeo recently shaved his head.
The superstar, 20, took to Instagram on Thursday and shared a selfie to which David replied, writing: ‘Looking good Romeo’.
