Earlier in the day, David was in full-on farmer mode when he shared a hilarious photo of himself waving a baby goat on Instagram.
While the cute animal certainly turned heads, David’s hair stole the show as he sported a completely thinner look in his most recent Instagram selfie, in which he posed with fellow footballer Thierry Henry two days earlier.
It’s unclear whether the image was a throwback or if the star – known for his passion for changing hairstyles – had taken to the clippers again.
The former England captain shared the Instagram post along with a cheeky caption that referenced Lionel Messi’s signing from his team Inter Miami.
Referring to the term GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) – used to describe athletes at the top of their game – he wrote: ‘I’ve found a little friend in the country. And no Harper Seven, sorry we can’t keep it. we have enough GOATS right now @intermimicf’.
In July, David and his Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas officially welcomed Messi – considered one of the greatest players of the modern era – to the team for a whopping $60 million per year – undoubtedly making him the jewel in the game. crown of David.
But as he left the field and headed back to his farm, David looked elated as he held the baby goat while rocking a waxed jacket and blue shirt.
In his photo, he showed off his close-cropped hairstyle, which appeared to have a thinner hair cover than what he showed earlier in the week.
