David Beckham is back in Los Angeles ahead of Inter Miami’s clash with his former team LA Galaxy on Sunday evening.

The Miami co-owner enjoyed a five-year stint as a Galaxy player at the end of his career, helping the club win two MLS Cups before heading to Paris Saint-Germain for the final stop of his storied career.

This weekend, however, he will be competing against his old club, while Miami will look to make it two wins out of two against LA on Sunday night.

Beckham was seen arriving at Dignity Health Sports Park a few hours before kick-off, where he signed autographs, posed for photos and walked the grounds where he plied his trade more than a decade ago.

Players like Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez are aiming for their second straight MLS win after beating Real Salt Lake City 2-0 on Wednesday night.

Suarez made his debut for the side after completing a move from Gremio at the end of December, with the former Liverpool and Barcelona striker setting up Diego Gomez for their second goal of the night.

Although Suarez limped noticeably late in the evening in the final stages of the team’s season opener.

He has not hidden the fact that he has struggled to play regularly due to a knee problem that plagued the latter stages of his career.

But despite a grueling pre-season tour around the world and a lack of rest, Tata Martino hinted he would not rotate for the weekend’s trip to California.

And both Suarez and Messi were subsequently included in his starting line-up on Sunday evening.

“Most of the changes we had to make were related to physical issues,” Martino said of potentially resting his big names.

‘Maybe we should look at that, but not before the second game of the season. No no no.

“We just started competing. Hopefully they will all be fine on Friday and everyone who is ready will go on their journey.”
