David Beckham planted a kiss on his daughter Harper’s cheek on Friday as they attended a soccer match between Inter Miami CF and Atlanta United FC in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The retired footballer, 49, co-owner of Inter Miami, was also joined at the match by his wife Victoria, 50, and their son Cruz, 19.

David wrapped his arms around Harper as he gave her a kiss, but the youngest Beckham child appeared to grimace playfully as she watched the match with her family.

Victoria cut a casual figure during the outing, wearing a baby blue T-shirt and matching bracelets as she chatted with a female friend.

Cruz also opted for a relaxed look in a dark brown hoodie as he enjoyed the match with his father.

It comes after David was spotted strolling through his new $77 million mega-mansion in Miami, just days after purchasing the exclusive waterfront enclave.

The football legend was all smiles as he inspected the impressive nine-bedroom property in Miami Beach, Florida, which he bought with Victoria.

Earlier this month, a local real estate source claimed that the Beckhams’ offer for the property had been accepted and that they plan to move early next year.

The Beckhams have had a base in Florida for years and also spent around £18 million on a five-bedroom, full-floor penthouse in central Miami in 2020.

The couple already have a property portfolio, including a £31 million mansion in London’s Holland Park and a £12 million land pile in the Cotswolds.

Well-known columnist Jose Lambiet told the Mail earlier this month: ‘I don’t think people necessarily remember that David Beckham was a footballer.

“They now look at him as a community man, and ownership of the football team has made him a stalwart in South Florida.

“Miami is a place where he and Victoria can feel comfortable because people here are used to famous faces; there are hundreds of celebrities.”

It is understood that the entire Beckham family had already visited the property before Beckham’s latest visit, with a source saying that ‘everyone is loving it’.

They added: ‘Although it is David who has the working relationship in Miami, the impression from the agents is that Victoria has pushed for the move.

‘What we hear is that she wants to have some kind of salon there where she can meet interesting famous and rich people. It will be a social scene, but the idea is that she can boost her fashion and makeup brands by strengthening those links.

“It seems like she wants to be the Queen of Miami and take advantage of all the celebrities the football club has to offer.”

Former England captain Beckham exercised an option in his contract with his former Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy in 2014 to purchase an expansion franchise.

He launched the team in Miami in 2018, before confirming it would be called Club Internacional de Futbol Miami or Inter Miami CF. It made its MLS debut in 2020.

The former Manchester United midfielder ended his playing career in 2013 with 718 appearances, 127 goals and 214 assists. He played 115 times for England.
