‘Sending lots of love’: David Beckham stuns 102-year-old fan with sweet video message after caretakers surprise her with Beck-themed party
David Beckham surprised his ‘oldest fan’ with a video message this week that was played during a surprise ‘Thank You Day’ party in honor of his favorite footballer.
Mona Hurry, 102, was stunned after caretakers at Castor Lodge Care Home in Peterborough secretly organized the event, where they were even seen wearing Beckham masks.
In the message, David sent his love to the ‘incredible’ Mona and thanked her for pursuing his career.

He said, ‘Hi Mona, I just wanted to send you a message because everyone at Castor Lodge, all the staff and of course your daughters, have said what an amazing lady you are.
Before adding: ‘I also want to thank you personally because I know you have followed my career and I know you are a great football fan.’
“I’m sending a lot of love for being an amazing person.”

Mona, who was a codebreaker during World War II, is such a fan that she even has a cardboard cutout of David in her bedroom.
joking about him for Mirror she said, ‘He has no airs and thank you.’
Care Home manager Laura Mills, who helped organize the event and the surprise message, said: ‘Mona adores David Beckham and loves to talk about him. She always says that he is a special, charming and charitable man.

It comes after David and his daughter Harper enjoyed a family pizza night with best friend Tom Brady in Miami on Thursday, as the NFL star continues to work through his divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
David seemed in high spirits when the Beckhams and the Bradys joined forces at Miami Slice pizzeria for a night of pizza making.
Sharing a snap of himself, Harper, Tom alongside their 10-year-old daughter Vivian, the England legend wrote: ‘Daddy’s and there [sic] daughters’.
