David Beckham was mobbed by supporters after watching Lionel Messi inspire Inter Miami to a remarkable victory over Dallas on Sunday night.
The MLS club co-owner watched from the stands – along with his wife Victoria Beckham and their children Cruz and Harper – as Miami trailed 4-2 to win on penalties.
The victory took them to the quarter-finals of the Leagues Cup and continued their fairytale start to life with Messi.
“WOW what a night in Dallas, thanks for the love,” Beckham wrote on his Instagram page. “What a match.”
Astonishing footage, posted after the game, appeared to show Beckham leaving Toyota Stadium after the penalty shootout.

Crowds of supporters and camera phones greeted the 48-year-old, who shook hands with fans as they shouted for the former England captain and patted him on the shoulder.
It was a similarly chaotic scene as they pulled away from the stadium, with fans lining the streets rushing for high-fives as Beckham let his arm dangle out of his car window.
Fans ignored warnings to stay off the road — instead, the screaming crowds rampaged down the sidewalk into the street, forcing Beckham’s car into the center lane.

“Thanks Dallas,” Beckham posted alongside the videos on Instagram. “Great scenes.”
He was joined in Texas by his co-owners Jorge and Jose Mas. And before the game, it looks like Beckham tasted a quintessential Texas delicacy.
He posted a photo next to his son Cruz, in front of a sign from Blu’s Barbeque & BBQ Catering, just over a 15-minute drive from Toyota Stadium.
“When in Rome, go big or go home…BBQ,” Beckham wrote alongside the photo.
