David Beckham cuts a suave figure as he sips coffee and reads about his beloved beekeeping in stylish new Nespresso ad
David Beckham cut a suave figure in a stylish new Nespresso that he shared on his Instagram on Monday.
The former footballer, 48, donned a cable knit jumper as he sipped the brand’s Vivida B12 coffee and read a newspaper in a lush, leafy garden.
David’s new campaign, which focuses on taking time to embrace slow mornings, also referenced his love of beekeeping with a photo of the insects on a honeycomb on the front page of the newspaper.
In the clip, the iconic English star enjoyed a cup of coffee before the camera shot into the sky and reached out into space.
David later gave a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot via his Instagram Stories, showing that a drone was used to capture the shot before any special effects were added.

He joked: “I’m trying to drink my Nespresso in peace” as the drone’s propellers spun loudly before taking off.
David first started making his own honey during lockdown, reportedly ready to turn his hobby into a business by launching honey under possible names ‘D Bee, Seven Honey and Goldenbees’.
A source said: “Beekeeping started early in lockdown as a fun hobby.
‘But now David has become a bit obsessed. He thinks it’s a total antidote to his crazy life in London and Miami.’
However, they claimed there is more than just fun behind David’s interest, suggesting he thinks it could help his business portfolio too.
They said: ‘He sees the logic behind adding to his already impressive business portfolio with authentic, clean and natural brands, and that’s what people are looking for.’
And David isn’t the only star to have tried his hand at beekeeping, with Jason Statham revealing his love for the winged creatures last week.
The action movie star, 56, decided to try his hand at the hobby after signing up to star in the Sky Original film The Beekeeper, in which he played a man on a mission of revenge and former employee of a powerful and clandestine organization known as Beekeepers.

Dressed in a beekeeping suit, the father-of-two looked cheerful as he got to work harvesting his honey.
In an interview with Vogue, Beyonce also revealed that she took up beekeeping during lockdown (as honey’s healing properties help with her children’s allergies).
Now she has 80,000 bees in two hives in her LA home, producing hundreds of jars of honey a year.
Scarlett Johansson, meanwhile, has had a beehive since 2009, a wedding gift from Samuel L. Jackson.
Jennifer Garner has had seven beehives in her LA home since 2017, which she cares for with her three children.

Geri Horner shared a video of her trying out beekeeping
The actress has shared several photos of herself on Instagram, proudly blooming a piece of golden honeycomb, while adorned from head to toe, and making her own honey.
Mark “Bez” Berry, once the party-loving, maraca-wielding dancer of the Happy Mondays, has also taken up beekeeping.
He told The Guardian: ‘It’s just a wonderfully calming, soothing thing to do with such a fantastic reward at the end.
“It’s not like gardening, you know, where you have to get out your pitchfork and really work. They take care of themselves, bees. Actually just a cat. They just come in and go out as they please. But then they give you honey.’
