The celebrity couple were also joined at the finals by the youngest two of their four children, son Cruz, 18, and daughter Harper, 12.

She would definitely take snaps with Hollywood actresses Reece Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, who attended the soccer game.

Posh Spice wrote alongside it, “Wow! What a night in Nashville!!!! We couldn’t be more proud @davidbeckham we love you so much xxxx CHAMPIONS @intermiamimicf @cruzbeckham #harperseven.’

Golden Balls himself shared the same family photo on his Instagram page, writing, “I’m so proud tonight of what we’ve accomplished as La Familia. Gracias for everything MIAMI @intermiamimicf.’

After collecting the trophy, an emotional David admitted that he can hardly believe how much Inter Miami have improved after Lionel Messi arrived just five weeks ago and turned them into Leagues Cup winners.

After scoring the team’s only goal in full-time, Messi scored another sensational goal during the thrilling penalty shootout.

Goalkeeper Drake Callendar became the hero and saved from opponent Elliot Panicco after scoring his penalty kick for Miami.

In the Geodis Park tunnel after watching his team lift the trophy, David said: ‘I mean, I’m not the biggest fan of penalties. It’s never easy to see these matches end like this.

Every penalty kick was unbelievable, it was a great night. Nashville put up an incredible fight, but it was our night tonight.

“People keep saying it’s like a movie – every time Leo hits one of these goals, Busi makes one of these passes, Jordi makes one of these runs.

“People say it’s a solution and it’s the biggest compliment you can give these players because it’s like a movie.

“You see them play and that’s emotional. Everything about their game is beautiful.’

It was the crowning glory of five whirlwind weeks for Miami, who entered the Leagues Cup as the worst team in Major League Soccer. But with Messi they are not yet defeated.

David admitted, “A lot can happen in five weeks! A lot has changed for us, we’re going to enjoy tonight and then we have to look to the future and build on.

“We have some of the best players, if not the best player in the world, wearing pink for us. We also have a bunch of youth players there and that’s incredibly important.’

“It’s an emotional night for all of us. It’s been a long journey for me. It’s been a long journey, I always knew there would be bumps along the way and there were too many, to be honest. Tonight is a night we’re going to enjoy.’
