Dave Portnoy unleashes furious six-minute anti-Kamala Harris rant: ‘Worst candidate to run for president ever’
Dave Portnoy, a Donald Trump supporter and founder of Barstool Sports, took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris for what he characterized as the “gaslighting” of her record.
In a six-minute online rant warning listeners about celebrity endorsements, Portnoy told his 3.2 million followers that she is the “worst candidate to ever run for president.”
Portnoy began by apologizing for unleashing a rant about politics, explaining that he’s “not trying” but that he “reached a boiling point” after listening to some recent Harris interviews.
“And it’s the gaslighting the left is doing with Kamala Harris that makes it sound like she’s a great, groundbreaking candidate,” Portnoy said.
According to Portnoy, the Democratic nominee is trying to define herself as a candidate for change while insisting she agrees with President Joe Biden’s decisions since 2020.

“This is the sitting vice president of the United States saying she is the candidate for change,” he said.
Portnoy then described the problems facing the United States, much of which he blames on the Biden-Harris administration.
“On the world stage, Afghanistan was a disaster, the Middle East is basically on fire,” he said.
“And then inflation at home is out of control, people are burning American flags in the streets, defunding the police, public order doesn’t even seem to matter anymore, you have the border.
“So many problems.”
The way Portnoy sees it, there are only two voters in 2024: those who hate Trump and those who love him.
Those who hate Trump, Portnoy explained, would vote for “a potato or a head of lettuce or something.”
“And that’s my father,” Portnoy said. “It doesn’t matter who’s running, he hates Trump so much, he would vote for whoever you put there.

Harris, he claimed, is irrelevant in the eyes of voters and he used her decision to drop out of the 2020 primaries as evidence.
“There’s a reason why she ran for president last time,” he said. ‘She didn’t get a single vote. She dropped out before the primaries.”
Portnoy also complained about Harris getting softball questions from interviewers such as Stephen Colbert.
More worrying, he says, is her inability to formulate clear answers during these friendly interactions.
‘She never gives a straight answer. She seems unable to form coherent thoughts,” Portnoy continued, stumbling over his words. “It’s actually scary for me to think what she would be on the international stage.”
Portnoy has supported Trump’s bid for the White House since his favored candidate, Nikki Haley, dropped out of the Republican primary.
