An elated Dave Portnoy celebrated after watching Caitlin Clark score another 3-pointer in Iowa’s crunch clash with LSU during March Madness.

The Barstool Sports founder revealed this weekend that he would be in Albany for the blockbuster Elite Eight game after purchasing tickets as soon as the tournament round indicated that Iowa and LSU could meet.

And as Clark took on archrival Angel Reese at the Times Union Center, Portnoy could be seen jumping up to celebrate the college basketball sensation’s success with one of her signature three-pointers that night.

In a video shared to his own X account, he can be seen jumping out of his chair and high-fiving a friend after witnessing Clark’s brilliance in real life.

The Iowa superstar broke another record Monday night, surpassing Diana Taurasi (62) for career three-pointers in the NCAA tournament.

She enjoys remarkable prominence after also recently becoming the NCAA’s all-time leading point scorer, with her on-court success bringing an unprecedented level of attention to women’s basketball.

Clark, who plans to enter the WNBA Draft this year, has even been offered $5 million to play in Ice Cube’s Big3 League once March Madness is over.

And after the hip-hop legend’s offer, Portnoy came up with one of his own, attempting to join forces with Clark.

“I’m offering Caitlin Clark 10 million to play on our intramural hoops team,” he joked on X.

Portnoy has spoken about Clark repeatedly on social media lately, resulting in the Barstool chief desperately hoping Iowa would prevail at March Madness.

“I support Iowa, they have a very difficult road ahead of them. “I love Caitlin Clark, and she’s electrified not just myself, (but) the whole country,” he recently shared Fox Business.

“The big names, the big stars are all here for women’s basketball this year.”
