Dave Portnoy fumes at clip of Jason Kelce signing autograph for ‘lunatic’ fan after ballistic rant
Dave Portnoy has been left furious after Jason Kelce was pressured into signing an autograph for a crazed fan who subjected him to a tirade of abuse.
In a video obtained by TMZ Sportsan irate autograph seeker can be seen unleashing an expletive-filled tirade toward Kelce, 37, as he shouts the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Thursday in Los Angeles.
“You’re not a special person!” the man shouts at him as he gets into his car. “You’re a damn guy who thinks he’s on a pedestal!”
The insults then become so relentless that Kelce gets out of his car to de-escalate the situation and sign an autograph for the fan, who at one point in the video even appeared to challenge him to a fight.
After watching the clip online, Portnoy expressed frustration that the former NFL star gave in to the autograph seeker, claiming he’s “being bullied by holes.”
“I HATE that Jason Kelce got out of his car again and signed this crazy autograph,” the Barstool Sports founder wrote on X.

Kelce admitted to the fan after they unleashed an angry tirade as he left the Jimmy Kimmel show
‘He’s being bullied by assholes. That guy should be in jail and not getting an autograph.”
Kelce signed the autograph and calmed down the angry man, who eventually apologized and admitted he was “ashamed of that moment” — while also demanding that no one post the video of his outburst.
“You’re doing good, buddy,” the Philadelphia Eagles legend told him.
The bizarre incident comes just weeks after Kelce became embroiled in another dispute with a fan during an appearance at Penn State for ESPN’s College GameDay.
Earlier this month he was seen smashing a fan’s phone for making a homophobic comment about brother Travis and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.
“Hey Kelce! How do you feel about your brother being in love with dating Taylor Swift?” they shouted at him.
Kelce continued to chase the slur before turning around, grabbing their phone and slamming it on the ground in anger. He then picked it up again and said: ‘who the f***** now?’ before you walk away.
It is unclear whether the phone belonged to the man who made the disparaging comment about Travis.

Kelce later apologized for the outburst on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown. He apologized to viewers for “falling short” of his usual levels of “common decency and respect.”
“I think everyone on social media saw what happened this week,” Kelce said. “Listen, I’m not happy about what happened. I’m not proud of it.
“In a heated moment, I chose to greet hate with hate and I just don’t think that’s a productive thing, I really don’t. I don’t think this will lead to any discussion and that it is the right way to go about things. At that point I dropped to a level I shouldn’t have.
“The bottom line is I try to live my life by the golden rule, that’s what I’ve always been taught; I try to treat people with common decency and respect, and I will continue to do so in the future.
“Even though I came up short this week, I’m going to do that and keep doing that.”
