Dave Grohl’s daughters delete social media accounts as he admits to cheating on their mom Jordyn Blum

Dave Grohl’s two eldest daughters have deleted their social media accounts after he admitted cheating on their mother Jordyn Blum and secretly fathering a baby girl.

The 55-year-old Foo Fighters singer admitted in a statement on Instagram on Tuesday that he cheated on his wife.

Grohl and Blum, 48, met in 2001 and have been married since 2003. They have three daughters: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

His two eldest daughters, Violet and Harper, deleted their Instagram accounts following their father’s announcement.

“I recently became the father of a new baby daughter, born out of wedlock. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her,” Grohl said.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am committed to earning their trust and forgiveness. We are grateful for your attention to all the children involved as we move forward together.”

Violet was born on April 15, 2006 in Los Angeles and has followed in her father’s footsteps as a musician, according to People.

When she was 12 years old, Violet joined Grohl onstage to sing Adele’s “When We Were Young” at a benefit concert for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in 2018.

In April 2021, the father-daughter duo released a cover of Los Angeles punk band X’s 1980 anthem “Nausea.”

In June 2023, the two performed together at the Glastonbury Festival and when his daughter came on stage, the rock star called her his “favorite singer in the world.”

Harper was born on April 17, 2009, and in his 2021 memoir, The Storyteller, Grohl described how Paul McCartney gave the girl her first piano lesson at age five.

She eventually joined her father and older sister on stage at a benefit concert in 2018, performing an acoustic version of “The Sky Is a Neighborhood.”

Grohl’s youngest daughter with Blum, Ophelia, was born on August 1, 2014. In October 2019, the singer had a cameo in the Nick Jr. preschool series Ryan’s Mystery Playdate with Ophelia.

Grohl announced Tuesday that he had a fourth daughter in September with a woman who is not Blum.
