Daughter’s chilling 911 call reveals how she saved mom from murder-for-hire plot masterminded by her millionaire Miami developer father

A chilling 911 call reveals how a daughter managed to thwart her millionaire father’s alleged murder attempt on her mother.

Alessandra Pino begs police to come to her mother’s Pinecrest, Florida home after finding a masked gunman on the property.

Prosecutors believe the man was sent by her father Sergio Pino to kill his estranged wife Tatiana, the Miami Herald defeated.

“There’s someone here with a gun,” a 26-year-old Alessandra can be heard telling the 911 operator in panic. “He just pointed a gun at me, and they’re still here.”

As she struggles to catch her breath, the operator asks for more details about the incident, which occurred on June 23.

“I have to tell my mom not to come home,” she adds. “They might be looking for her. She’s a victim. I hear a car, can I please call my mom?”

The operator tells her to stay on the line before Alessandra notices that her mother is home.

“My mother is here, they might have attacked her, oh my god,” she cries. “My mother is here, they might have shot her. Why are they [the police] not here yet?

When the conversation ends, she realizes the shooter has fled and she rushes to her mother’s aid.

Alessandra’s fears have been realised following the incident, after prosecutors revealed they believe her father orchestrated the attempted murder.

Court documents show Tatiana narrowly escaped death when she arrived home before her daughter and was greeted by alleged gunman Vernon Green, 53, who has since been charged.

She managed to drive her SUV into the backyard and honked so loudly that Alessandra came outside to see what was going on.

From there, the concerned daughter managed to call 911 and get the police on the scene.

Tatiana Pino, 55, filed for divorce from her wealthy husband, property developer Sergio Pino, 67, in April 2022 and he responded by trying to kill her, prosecutors allege

Sergio committed suicide last week at his $7.9 million marina home in Coral Gables, Miami, as FBI agents swarmed his property amid allegations of murder-for-hire.

It happened just a year after someone rammed Tatiana’s car in the same driveway with a rented truck, and the family suspects Sergio was also responsible.

The couple were in the midst of a turbulent divorce, with documents revealing that Tatiana believed her former lover was trying to kill her.

Sergio, 67, committed suicide earlier this month at his $7.9 million Coral Gables, Miami, marina home as FBI agents searched his mansion in connection with the allegations.

The SWAT team was on the scene to arrest him for paying hitmen to kill Tatiana, 55, during their bitter divorce battle, but he refused to be taken alive.

Nine other people were arrested after allegedly accepting contracts worth as much as $300,000 to kill Tatiana and ensure Sergio wouldn’t take the blame.

Markenzy Lapointe, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, described in detail the murder plot following Pino’s suicide.

“This case is about a husband, Mr. Pino, who after years of marriage decided he would kill his wife,” he said.

Pino committed suicide Tuesday at his $7.9 million marina home in Coral Gables, Miami, as federal agents closed in on the case.

According to the divorce proceedings, Sergio tried to poison his wife with fentanyl before the attempted murder

Sergio’s efforts began after Tatiana filed for divorce in April 2022 after 30 years of marriage. The couple has two daughters, Alessandra and Carolina Pino.

Before the attempted murder, he had attempted to slowly and surreptitiously poison her with fentanyl, which later became apparent during their divorce proceedings in 2022.

Court documents show that Tatiana was frequently hospitalized and that doctors did not understand her condition. Her condition improved after she left her husband.

“When that failed, he twice put out jobs in her name and hired separate groups of hitmen to do the job,” Lapointe said.

Lapointe explained that the first hit squad Sergio hired reportedly consisted of Bayron Bennett, who worked part-time as a waiter and waitress on his yacht “Century Star,” and three others: Micahael Dulfo, Edner Etienne and Jerren Howard.

They were charged with arson and attempted hit-and-run deaths of Tatiana and her sister, which came to light following an earlier FBI raid on June 24.

The hitmen allegedly set three cars on fire in front of her sister’s house and then tried to run her over in a rented Home Depot trailer.

Pino later hired a second team, which reportedly included Diori Barnard, Clementa Johnson, Vernon Green, Avery Bivins and Fausto Villar.

Prosecutors say Sergio orchestrated two failed attacks on his estranged wife

He promised them $150,000 to carry out the killing before the next divorce proceedings, and double that amount if the murder could not be traced back to him, charging documents show.

Sergio was the president of Century Homebuilders Group, the largest Hispanic-owned homebuilder in the country.

According to his divorce papers, he had a net worth of $153 million, but there was disagreement about how much money he actually had.

According to a criminal complaint, their combined net worth was $359 million, but Pino said he made up that figure as a “joke,” using “made up” numbers, and that the $153 million figure was accurate.
