A dating coach has claimed that women who look and sound expensive are less likely to be interested in men – and ‘that’s okay.’
Nelly Sudri, 28, a matchmaker in Beverly Hills, California, has nearly 785,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares dating advice for “high value singles.”
The content creator known as @question.nellywent viral after they explained why exceptional women have a harder time finding men to pursue them.
“Ladies, the more expensive you look and the more expensive you sound… the smaller your dating pool will be,” she said.

Sudri explained that it could be anything from your education and worldliness to your luxurious designer wardrobe that makes you look expensive.
“By the way, you know who you are if you fall into this category,” she noted.
“Many men, while they may pursue you for their own personal ego validation, will find it difficult to commit to you because your presence makes them feel insecure.”
This is because “men are programmed to be providers,” according to the dating expert.
“When they see someone like you, they may feel, ‘I can’t offer her anything she doesn’t already have,’ or ‘I can’t impress her the way I can impress a woman who doesn’t have it.’ have all those things,” she said.
“So they’ll go for a girl that makes them feel a lot more in their masculine energy and sometimes it’s not about you. It’s just about them and their own complex.’
Sudri compared dating a woman of value to buying a new Bugatti, which costs $1 million or more depending on the model.
“Bugattis are beautiful, luxurious and expensive cars, but there’s a reason why not many people go into that dealership,” she explained.
