Dashcam footage shows the intense argument between Zach Bryan and the officer who stopped him for speeding.
The 27-year-old country singer was arrested Thursday evening in Oklahoma for obstructing an investigation and was booked into the Craig County Jail in Vinita, where he had his mugshot taken.
Bryan, a U.S. Navy veteran turned country music star, was on a road trip to the East Coast to see the Philadelphia Eagles play the New England Patriots when he was stopped by Oklahoma Highway Patrol for speeding.
The video from the police car shows Bryan sitting in the passenger seat and wiggling in his position before complaining that the handcuffs were “insanely uncomfortable.”
The country singer has since received applause from retired Sergeant Betsy Branter Smith, a spokesperson for the National Police Association, who said TMZ that officers appreciate Zach coming out so quickly to say sorry for what happened, and she said other officers feel the same about Bryan’s apology.

The Oklahoma singer threatened the sheriff, saying that if the officer didn’t let him out of handcuffs so he could get back in his truck, it would be “a big mistake” because Bryan was reportedly “every officer in Tulsa.” knows.

He said: ‘Emotions got the better of me and I went too far in the things I said.’ The singer also emphasized that he supports law enforcement “as much as anyone can.”
Bryan told fans “I love you guys” and said he was “really sorry” to officers.
He also posted a longer apology video in which he said he wanted to be transparent with anyone who listened to his music about what happened with his arrest.
In the video shared to his Instagram Story, Bryan said, “I was an idiot today and my decisions didn’t reflect who I am as a person and I just wanted to make that clear and I should have been smarter about it.”
