Daryll Neita misses out on winning a medal in the women’s 100m final at the Paris Olympics – as Saint Lucia’s Julien Alfred
Daryll Neita missed out on a medal in the women’s 100 metres final at the Paris Olympics. Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia took gold with a time of 10.72.
USA’s Sha’Carri Richardson finished in second place, while fourth-place Melissa Jefferson edged out Neita by 0.04 seconds to win bronze.
This came after gold medallist Dina Asher-Smith failed to qualify for the final, finishing fifth in her semi-final.
