Nathan Aspinall stopped before the deciding leg of a World Darts Championship match to see a fan in a four-pint pitcher.
The 33-year-old secured his place in the round of 16 by beating Andrew Gilding 4-0 in his third round match at Ally Pally.
Aspinall stood on stage and looked towards the supporter as fans cheered at the incredible scene.
Shortly afterwards, there were boos in the audience because the spectator had been kicked out by security.
The ‘Asp’ discussed the incident in a post-match interview following his whitewash victory, where he averaged a three-dart average of 92.17.
“I was intrigued,” he told talkSPORT.
